[36 days.
He has been here for 36 days.
He has been here for 36 days without a case.
The wall of Temperance's flat? A wonderful way to pass the time. But the problem has been solved. The suggestion of Jilly Coppercorn and Sally Donovan (given independently but essentially the same) proved useful. The wall is gone, blocked by a table on one side, a bookcase on the other, and overlayed on top by painted plywood. Simple but effective.
Now? Now he's bored again.]
I've looked every other day for the last 26 days. Does anyone know if any shop here gets cigarettes?
Not picky about the brand at this point. But if anyone has Golden Virginia rolling tobacco, standard menthol filter tips, and Zig-Zag Classic rolling papers-- I want those.

...In his hands is a Blackberry. Not his mobile. No, this is of an obvious high-end. His is discreetly expensive. This one even has gold inlaid on it, or gold-painted metal. Hard to say from a distance.
But it's likely recognisable to someone else who's seen it before.
